  MDI's management team includes:
 
 
Victor Arce   Victor is a recognized leader in sustainable production and processing. Victor serves on the Boards of the Costa Rican Coffee Institute (ICAFE) and the Fair Trade Consortium, COOCAFE. Victor is the manager of the ISO14001-certified coffee cooperative Montes de Oro. Victor is an agronomist with a Masters in Business Administration.
 
Raul Raudales   Raul is an energy engineer with experience in both the private and public sector and has managed international projects for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Global Environment Facility, and Conservation International.
 
Arley Morales   Arley is a training specialist in coffee processing and manages the solar drying facility at Montes de Oro. Arley is an expert in efficient use and management of patios, as well as the use of industrial solar drying systems. Arley has trained cooperatives in coffee drying and milling from throughout Central American and the Caribbean.
 
Reyes Picado   Reyes is the system installation and maintenance specialist involved in technology transfer. Reyes provides training of installation teams and the formation of local expertise in the maintenance of Solar/Biomass Drying Systems.
 
 
Richard Trubey   A co-founder of the Institute, Richard has developed technology transfer programs for the World Bank, Inter-American Foundation, AVINA Foundation and others. Richard's background is in environmental science.
 
José Acuña   José  is the legal representative in Central America (Nicaragua).
